Eilisen

Tomaatti-inkiväärikastike hautuu hellalla. Ilmassa leijuu inkiväärin, sherryn ja korianterin tuoksu. Jääkaappi tuoksuu nostalgisten jokavuotiselta, uniikilta sekoitukselta. Yli puoli kiloa kuumia kastanjoita on kuorittu, peukaloiden iho venytetty ohueksi, melkein rakolle. On pimennyt, vaikka hämärimmät päivät ovat ohitse. Steariinia, suppilovahveroita, Kahluaa Bacarin mikserinä. Mustia paketteja joissa on himmeän kultainen nauha: joulu on mattamaalattu ja himmeäksi puhallettu. Kotona koristeina saippuakuplan sävyisiä kirkkaita kovia muovipalloja, vanhempien luona kynttilöitä vihertyneissä messinkijaloissa.

En osaa päättää onko mustavalkokuva vai värillinen parempi.

Siiri mallasi lidontinkerille, kuva taipui hyvin kortiksi.

Ihanaa, valoisaa joulua kaikille. Tapaamme ehkä loman aikana.
Aika viettää vuosi loppuun.

Ikkunat huurussa imellämme perunalaatikkoa, poltamme pipareita karrelle. Huomenna eli tänään myöhemmin talvisen Fiskarsin rauhaan hetkeksi, kaikki alkaa olla valmista maata ja olla. Mieltä kutittelee ajatus karkaamisesta Itä-Suomeen uudeksi vuodeksi, saa nähdä onko paikka tyhjillään ja fiilis oikea parin viikon kuluttua. Hankea, hiljaisuutta, öljyvärien hajua ja tärpättiä, ei nettiä, sähköt juuri ja juuri.

For Saturday. Making cookie dough in the kitchen, for present hat-boxes. Hair is overgrown and by neck and shoulders ache from the dancing. Thank you all for the great party, it was super you came! And sorry for finishing it off so quickly, it would have been great to play pictionary and talk more, but you know I need my fix of dancing once in a while. Next time we could make pizza together, like every visitor bringing one ingredient to make it cheap for everyone, and play the said game, watch movies etc. Dancing was good, had a slight flow and good time there, nothing too mind-blowing (was bit too tired for the ultimate ecstatic flow of dancing). Beautiful pictures and people too, so great.

Today there was a quite persistent snow-storm, and a short-distance trip of purchasing jars turned into a glorious battle against the powers of nature, oh the epic nature of our lives. Got the jars, forgot to buy the fabric, but there's still some two days left. And I want to have a terrace or a balcony as a Christmas present.

Wikipedian random article- toiminto tuottaa artikkelijonoja, jotka assosioituvat oudolla tavalla toisiinsa. Näin voisi vaikka aloittaa romaanin kirjoittamisen. Taas mainitaan Pablo Neruda! Irlantilainen kävelysauva, Kauhajoki, pelituottajia, Dragonball, Ford 7W, norjalaisia kohmalokaupalla, Crobylus, epäsuora lähestyminen. Tai ehkä se on pitkä takana oleva päivä, joka on kulunut nukkumiseen, kuljeskeluun ja sinapin tekoon. Litra jääkaapissa. Ja sellaista jota ei mistään kaupasta saa.

On saatana kylmä kaltaiselleni yksikerrospukeutujalle. Mitään kerrastoja käytä. Toinen noukkari olisi hyvä, nyt jäätyvät sormet sormikkaissa. Paikoin tarvitsen niitä painamaan nappeja, vaikka viima pääseekin silloin hihansuista sisään, kainaloihin kietoutuu. Huurre on kaunista, väriskaala rauhoittaa, sulaa silkkiä silmille, jääpölyä luomille ja mielelle. Töölönlahtea peitti jääkerros, joku luisteli siellä jo. Puut varjokuvina, hopella puhallettuina siluetteina. Murskattuun ikkunalasiin kastettuja. Aurinko matalalla, noustuaan se valmistuu jo laskuun. On osattava nauttia, pysähdyttävä katsomaan, säteet lämmittävät melkein, suojapuolella tuntee hetken että valo kasvaa jälleen vahvaksi. Vastavalo kultaa maiseman, valaisee kaupungin kylmät luut läpikuultaviksi.

Huoneessani tuoksuu syreeni, keittiön ikkunan viereiseen kylmäkaappiin tuulee ja sateenvarjo ovenpielessä kuuluu väärään vuodenaikaan.

Kuvieni maneerisuus alkaa pikkuhiljaa nakertaa kunnianhimoani. Voisin esimerkiksi kuvata myös loppukroppaani sen puolia tarkasti pureskellen ja tarkastellen. Voiko itsensä valmistaa päivälliseksi? Miksi keksin näin makaabereja ja banaaleja ideoita? Miksi en käsittele suuria ideoita - joita pääni siis suorastaan pursuaa - kuvissani? Aika, kauneus, kuolema! Näihin teemoihin palannemme.

Printing at school. So much light! It was amazing. Light sky, white reflective snow, brisk air, cold. Beautiful, the colours, the wind, the light, all. Then some project-thingies, group actions will likely not work but I'll do my so called best. We're to make an installation, and I want to do something with light, and I have no idea if anyone else gives a shit. (if they don't, I'll just do something else - hopefully nothing to do with motor-sports cause in that case I'll be sick or something - half-heartedly or simply do it by myself, like wohoo teamwork)

Went shopping with mom. Tomorrow back to school, then Wednesday some ecological designing, after that I'm off!

It snows, and cold air is blown from the sea. Soon I have to close the window of my room. Fingers are starting to get numb. Bokeh in the railway intermediary station is painted on midair, pale grayish, frozen peach and gunmetal, thin films of light form the circles and overlap each other as in a watercolour painting.

Watched the Others just a moment ago. Very beautiful pictures, have to take snapshots of the whole film. Surprising plot even, must admit it, ( yeas I'm slightly lame)
What else well being sleeping a lot (more to come tonight!), reading magazines, relaxing my brain. It's been great, though this is not easy for me, I have to keep myself from jumping at doing things, achieving stuff all the time. Cool yeah, tomorrow some more slacking off, the back to work with my guns loaded and ready to ramble.

Satoi lunta päivällä. Kaunista valkeaa pisaramerta harmaan yläpilven alla. Ostin neuleen, trendi-lehden ja stydikantisen vanhan pokkarin Fidalta. Löysin mekaanisen herätyskellon toiselta romutorilta, haen sen huomenna ja puran koko kojeen.

Vietin viimeisen ergonomian tunnin naamoja piirrellen.

Välillä tunnen kotikielen kutittelevan ikenien alla, sanojen pulppuavan kahdenkymmenen vuoden ajalta väljemmin kuin opitun uuden laulun avulla.
On pimeää. Matkat ovat pitkiä, niiden aikana kuuntelen poppia, rockia, musiikkia ja sykkivää ääntä jonka rytmi on ohjelmoitu mieleni kaavaan ja osieni verkkoon. Röyksopp, Demons and Wizards, Patrick Wolf, Laika. Elektroniset haitarinsoittajat kulkevat parijonossa pelloilla, tanssivat lintunaamareissaan kuolleen rukiin läikittämällä savimaalla, soilla soittavat vanhoja tarinoita. Sellistien kiharat hiukset suoristuvat musiikin elämänjanon voimasta ja pimeydestä, naakat kokoontuvat suuriksi kalkattaviksi parviksi ja variksilla on arvelluttavia suunnitelmia. Ensi viikolle on luvattu kylmää, lienee turvallisinta kaivaa karvareuhka esiin ja kaapia kokoon enemmän neulepaitoja, sillä takkianihan minä en napita.

If I were rich, I would buy scenting flowers every week. Got these tulips from Q, who got a huge bush of them from the next-door-neighbor of her workplace. Tulips are not exactly my favourite flowers, but these have a beautiful colouring.
Last week of ergonomics at school, can't say I'll miss it much. Holiday begins next week. Time flies etc. Sleep is rare. Maybe should try cold showers in the morning too. I'm thinking of having a good two and a half days of relaxing this weekend, staying at home with loads of fruit and lentils, couple of good books and work forbidden. And a shitload of sleep on the menu.

Visited Ofelia market today, awful crowd there, nothing quite amazing. No "wow" effects, except maybe on one corsetry-table, they had very beautiful photography in postcardflyers. Next year I'll probably be there with my own sales booth, so it was interesting to see what kind of different solutions people had come up for the limited space available. Best looked the tables not overloaded with stuff, those with neat surfaces and cohesive overall looks.

Spent money on my hair, had a haircut again. It's addictive, this haircutting, when you get into the habit of getting it short every month you find it uncomfortable to let it grow longer. But now it starts to feel like I want to have a change, maybe trying that shorter sides-longer on top-look I've been drooling on for some time now. Occasional tears of bitterness for not having naturally curly hair, but well fuck my genes they're worthless anyway.

Last night me and Q had a really excellent momentum of idea-throwing, I wanted to know if we'd figure out something fresh in the area of laser-cut jewelery, and we indeed did. (you know, everybody is doing the 2D cut surface thing now, but they are so dull with the designs...all the pieces look the same, there's nothing really crazy or amazing. fads.) The best ideas usually appear in the night, or in the morning, and then one goes and forgets them during the following deep dream, but instead of just going to bed we or more maybe just I wrote them down in order to preserve them for the critical eye of the morning light. And they all survived it, now to the laser-cutting machine, pronto.

It's actually quite amazing how much light a single bulb gives. Thank you Edison, and goodbye soon.
When I get money, I'll splurge here. Lighted letters, that's just what my home needs.

Aamu vaaleansinistä tomua, suuri hallava kuu taivaalla. Kynsikkäissä jäätyvät sormenpäät, värit ovat jään alla olleita lapsenkasvoja ja kuivunutta ruostetta. Näen outoja unia, joissa on aina sama uhka taka-alalla, jokin nimetön pelko, samaa sävyä kuin H.P.Lovecraftin tarinoissa. Meren rannassa tänä pitkän yön aamuyön tunteina, vettä joka ei tunnu vedeltä, etsintää hiekassa. Haluan ottaa kuvia unistani, mutta en osaa vielä.

Feeling the slight touch of melancholy in life, though all is fine. Money - or more truthfully the lack of it - is troubling me. I just have to seduce some old queer count or something. Or start selling myself more effectively. Everything hopefully falls into it's place, and there'll be a day when I don't have to beg for money from my parents anymore.

Kärnä was fine, I'm not manic, depressive, paranoid or obsessive-compulsive, generally just fine. Then I filled some forms with yeas/no options (SCID-II) and called that a day.

Purchased a Christmas present for myself, a photo by a student from Torkkeli. Very beautiful b&w image, some Sally Mann feeling in it. I'll just have to get it framed and pack it up. Rest of the day was spent with bicycle repair and photos.

I was almost napping in front of my computer while a scrolled through the images. Moar sleep plz.

Syytän jälleen itsestäni riippumattomia asioita kuvien myöhästymisestä. Viimeistelimme pakkauslaatikoita ja oli muutenkin hiukka hektistä ennen lauantaita, la-aamuna polkaisimme faijani kyydillä Tampereelle jättämään ensimmäisen erän hiuskoristeitani myyntiin Vaudeville boutiqueen. Kävimme vegevohveleilla, Pappa lähti ja jäimme hengaamaan Tampereelle illan burleskipikkujouluja odotellen. Dr. Sketch ensin, sen jälkeen ohjelmanumerot. Joulukuvaelma pyyhki aivoistani pois kaikki ala-asteen joulukirkkojen jättämät traumat, Tease Queens oli upea ryhmä. Kokonaisuutena varsin hulvaton show. Loppuilta twistiä. Aamujunalla klo. 4.40 Helsinkiin. Nyt olisi lomalle jäävä fiilis, mutta huomenna tapaan Kärnän aamulla, teen verkkoon tulevan kuvitusnakin illalla ja osallistun loppuviikon hillittömästi ergonomiaan ja liiketoiminnan perusteisiin. Lisäksi pyörän kumi pitäisi korjata, kirjoittaa essee johtamisesta, rendata päheitä kuvia valaisimesta sekä nettisivut koostaa ja pystyttää verkon saapuessa loppuviikosta. Miettiä pikkujouluja, keittää parsakaalia ja marinoida tofua, selvittää noin tuhat kuvaa ja postprosessoida niistä parhaat. Taidan huomenna tehdä listoja ja alkaa raivaukset. Onneksi eilinen oli niin ajaton.

Been printing, photoshooting, tomorrow morning I'll sink my hands in glue again. Who says we're late? There's still hours left, and graphics turned out very fine.
Being gayerotic again, but what else could I do?
Oh and damn I so want sequin leggins to compose a glimmery low-crotch shorts over leggins-look.
